Torque Vectoring
One of the most innovative features of the Concept_One is the Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring System (R-AWTV), which distributes the power to each single wheel in every situation based on various input factors.
This system gives the Concept_One unique handling characteristics which can be adjusted by the driver. The driver can choose between a neutral and safe (understeer oriented) setup. Alternatively, if the driver has more skills and confidence, an oversteer setup can be chosen. This feature is not only a technological gimmick, it also improves safety since electric motors can react much faster compared to traditional stability control systems (ESP) which are using hydraulic brakes in order to influence the vehicle stability.
Together with the very low center of gravity, extremely high torque available almost from zero RPM and the lack of shift interruptions, the Concept_One delivers a completely new driving experience.
