This person will work within the Engineering Team on the development of new components, tools and production processes for future Rimac vehicles.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience in automotive mechanical engineering in a wide range of fields. The candidate should have a strong passion for cars and new technology and be ready to work in a young, dynamic and fast-growing company.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in 3D CAD software, and Microsoft Office software
- Experience values above education. Will consider similar degree with experience, Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Design experience, preferably automotive
- Able to work both as a team and to work independently on design projects from beginning to end
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with machine shop manufacturing procedures (CNC-milling, turning and wire-cutting) and understanding of parts and tolerances
- Experience with FEM analysis
- Experience in small-scale manufacturing
- Experience in surface modeling
- Experience in design of liquid cooled devices
- Experience in composite structures development
- Experience in development of mecha-tronic systems (collaboration with electric engineering teams, PCB integration etc.)
- Driving licence
- Fluency in German and/or Italian
- Basic knowledge or experience with controls and PLC's is a plus.
- CAM programming skills are a plus
- Basic knowledge and experience with automotive electrical systems and communication protocols (CAN-Bus, LIN etc.)
